National Council endorses 2009 budget |

The National Council endorsed today the draft budget for the next year unanimously, after sparking controversy when it was tabled by the Ministry of Finance.
The 2009 budget contains a clause in which it increases taxation on a number of goods to fill the budget gap, which reached 20%, but did not increase the wages of workers in the country.
