The Chairman of the Central Statistics Office, Yasin Al Haj Abdeen, said that 20% of the fifth census forms were allocated to south Sudan.
Speaking to Miraya FM, Abdeen, speculated that the population estimates in south Sudan may not exceed 20% of the total population.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the South Sudan Statistics Commission, Isaiah Chole, told Miraya FM that statements before the official results are out are considered premature and might affect the census.
