A foreigner dies of Dengue fever in Juba |

The director of preventive medicine in south Sudan, Dr. John Rumunu has said a foreigner has recently died of Dengue hemorrhagic fever in Juba.
Speaking to Miraya FM, Dr. Rumunu said the ministry of health is tracing how the disease came to Sudan.
Dr. Rumunu also said this is the first time denge fever appears in Sudan, and that the ministry of health and partners are working hard to prevent out break of the disease, which is transmitted by vectors, such as mosquitoes.
The victim who is reported to have come from outside Africa died in Juba teaching hospital, and was buried in Juba as a precautionary measure.
