International summit to address Congo crisis |

The UN has announced that the African Union proposed holding an international summit in efforts to resolve the crisis in the DR of Congo.
A statement from the UN said the Tanzanian President, Chairman of the African Union Jakaya Kikuwitee and the Chairman of the African Union commission john Ping presented the proposal to the UN chief Ban Ki-Moon.
