State minister of health in Eastern Equatoria Miss. Florence Nighty Otto appealed to the international organizations not to pull out from Torit in an abrupt manner in order to allow the Ministry to find alternative funds for paying medical expenses and salaries.
Speaking to Miraya FM Miss. Otto Luttay said that international organizations Merlin and Norwegian Peoples Aid have announced pullout from the area due to their budgetary problems but the Ministry has no allocated funds at the moment to continue to pay salaries for medical staff.
She appealed to representatives of Merlin and Norwegian Peoples Aid to reconsider their exit strategy.
