The Sudan Armed Forces confirmed reports about the kidnapping of workers in oil fields, in Unity State yesterday.
They said that they are seeking to update full information about the incident.
Al Jazira news website reported that one person is killed and three others were kidnapped in Higleig, near unity state.
The website stated that one of those kidnapped is a Sudanese and the other two are from Yemen working for a Yemeni oil company.
The Manager of the spokesperson office of Sudan Armed Forces, Al Sawarmy Khalid Saad, told Miraya fm that one of the Sudanese soldiers is still missing since the Chinese hostages were traced in south Kordofan earlier this week.
He pointed out that search for the kidnappers is still going on.
Meanwhile, China sent a governmental team to Khartoum, to work on the release of the two remaining Chinese hostages.
The death toll became four after one body was found in South Kordofan yesterday.
