GoSS's ministers and MPs urged to enlight people on public service changes |

The minister of public service in the government of south Sudan (GOSS), Madam Awut Deng, has urged ministers and members of parliament to lead in informing the public about on coming changes in the public service sector.
Madam Awut told the South Sudan Legislative Assembly (SSLA) that the Public Service Reform Policy is aimed at efficient delivery of services to people of south Sudan.
Madam Awut cautioned government officials not to politicize the public service but to recruit people on their own merit.
The former president of south Sudan, Mr. Abel Allier gave his experience to parliamentarians about public service reforms.
The Public Service Reform is a big project, and has this week been discussed in several meetings in the ministry of labour, public service and human resource development, and in the South Sudan Legislative Assembly.
On the other hand, Deputy Governor of Jonglei State, Hansin Maruk Nyuk say, he is more then satisfied with the level of improved security situation in his State.
In an interview with Miraya FM in Jonglei State, Mr. Nyuk, who is also Minister of Local Government, disclosed that plans are underway to hold series of peace and reconciliation conferences in various locations so as to cement the relationship among the residents of those areas.
