A three-day Polio immunization campaign  has been launched in Juba following six confirmed cases of the disease in five states, of  Central and Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, Upper Nile and Unity.

The World Health Organization team Leader for expanded program on polio immunisation, Mr. Afework Assefa, said the exercise will target a total of about two point eight million children under five in Southern Sudan.
