Somali government forces have freed the Ukrainian ship caring weapons and hijacked by pirates last month after a gun-battle.
A source in the ministry of Ports said the hijackers surrendered in the clash in which one Somali soldier was killed and three wounded.
On The ship a consignment of Russian made Tanks, air defense systems and rocket launchers .
Ukraine said the weapons were going to Kenya ,but a spokesperson of the US navy in Bahrain said some of the weapons were on their way to Sudanese arms dealers.
