The UN Mission in Sudan organized a one-day workshop for cabinet ministers and other senior officials of Warrap State in Kuajok yesterday with the purpose of making them acquainted with the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

Over 40 senior officials from the ministries attended the discussions that dealt with the various protocols and arrangements contained in the Agreement and their implementation so far.

UNMIS Sector II Head of Office, Fred Babi also elaborated the thorny, and sometimes misunderstood, Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) signed between the Government of Sudan and UNMIS.
