The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in the Government of Southern Sudan held a one day workshop to educate voters about electoral laws.

Speaking during the workshop, the Under-Secretary in the Ministry Julia Aker Duany, said the workshop aims to prepare a document that creates awareness of the electoral law, and to educate citizens on how to vote.

Dr. Duany urged all citizens to process their Sudanese National Identity card ahead of elections.

The workshop was attended by the civil society, and international organizations.
