The President of the Republic Omer Al Bashir met yesterday in Khartoum the members of the Qatari initiative Committee to resolve the Darfur conflict.

Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud, and President of the delegation familiarized President Al-Bashir with the result of his tour in the Darfurian States.

He further said that the initiative committee will contact the neighboring countries and the armed groups.

Al Bashir on the other hand, expressed full support to the initiative.
