The Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly today will discuss the statement of the First Vice President, President of the Government of Southern Sudan Lt. General Salva Kiir Mayardit.

The President delivered the statement in the opening of the second session of the Assembly.

The Speaker of the Assembly James Wani Igga told Miraya FM that after finishing deliberations on the statement, the house will embark on discussions on the performance of government institutions and endorsement of some bills.

In a related development, Igga urged the Ministry of Legal Affairs in the Government of Southern Sudan to table the anti-corruption draft bill adding that the Assembly did not receive the bill yet.
