Al Turabi expects failure of Arab League initiative to resolve Darfur crisis |

The Chairman of the Popular National Congress Party Hasan Al Turabi stated that he expects failure of the Arab League initiative on Darfur because it stayed far from the issue during all the past period, as he put it.
He told Miraya FM that some countries which suggested to host the negotiations between the government and the armed factions in Darfur could contribute positively by pushing forward the peace process in the region.
