Minister of Information and Broadcasting and in the Government of southern Sudan, Gabriel changsok, announced that the Egyptian government agreed to host South Sudan TV channel on the Egyptian satellite Nilesat, in addition to training a number of media personnel from southern Sudan.

Minister Changsok, who is visiting Cairo since Wednesday, told Miraya FM that the southern government constructs the basic infrastructure for the project.

He further noted that training courses for southern media staff will start mid-November.
