After extensive talks in Khartoum, Mr. Williamson expressed concerns over the event which took place in Kalma Internally Displaced Person's Camp in Southern Darfur that claimed the lives of dozens of people.

Both the Sudanese and the American sides considered yesterday's discussions as resumption of talks between Khartoum and Washington which stopped since the eruption of violence in Abyei last may.
