au_troops.jpgThe Joint UN/AU force in Darfur has deployed a contingent of 33 military police forces to assist efforts to protect civilians in Kalma IDP camp in South Darfur. The Spokesperson of UNAMID Kemal Saiki stated to Miraya that the contingent began a daily patrol and monitoring duties.

He described the security situation in the camp as calm and cautious.

On the other hand, The US envoy to Sudan Richard Williamson will arrive Khartoum next Wednesday.

The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ali Al Sadiq said Sudan would not end dialogue with the US administration despite the time remaining for the current US administration may not allow achieving anything in the bilateral relations.
