Al Jaz downplays the effect of US financial crisis on Sudan |

The Minister of Finance and National Economy Awad Al Jaz said the American financial crisis will not have a big impact on Sudan's economy.
Al Jaz explained that the American sanctions play a protective role for Sudan's economy as the country has no trade relations with western countries or the United States.
He added that a committee from the Bank of Sudan and the Ministry of Finance has been formed to monitor the international financial crisis.
