The Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha called the African Union Peace and Security Council to present a firm and clear request to the UN Security Council to defer the ICC Prosecutor General request to issue an arrest warrant to President Omer Al-Bashir.
Addressing the Council yesterday in New York, Taha said he hoped that the UN General Assembly will avail a chance for the Peace and Security Council of the African Union to co-ordinate with all the international and regional organizations on this issue.
