Tomorrow, the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly meetings will begin in New York.
The Sudanese delegation will be headed by the Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohd Taha, who will also address a meeting of the African Peace and Security Council later this month.
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Al Saddiq, told Miraya FM that the Vice President will meet with a number of US officials including the Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
He added that these meetings will be a chance for Sudan to discuss the Darfur issue and the accusations raised by the International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor against President Al Bashir.
