In Warab State citizens in Kongor town in Alyak municipality demanded the UN to intervene to convince the State government to withdraw the SPLA forces from the area.

They expressed fear that the soldiers use their cattle as food resulting in hunger in the area as they put it.

The Chairman of the Committee for the raided cattle in Alyak municipality Madoud Tong Akon said the SPLA soldiers did not leave the area despite efforts exerted by the Committee.

Citizens in the area say that 1,000 SPLA soldiers were deployed in northern Tong to recover the raided cattle.
