Abyei Chief Administrator assumes duty |

The Interim Chief Administrator of Abyei, Arop Mayak, assumed his duties with an assessment visit in the area.
Mayak met with local leaders and representatives of the United Nations and the Joint Integrated Units in Abyei.
Waar Majak, the SPLM political representative in Abyei said the return of the displaced and reconstruction are the greatest challenges for the new administration.
On his part, Abyei Deputy Administrator, Rahma Abdul Rahman, told Miraya FM that negotiations are continuing between the partners, the National Congress Party and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, for the completion of the administration's institutions.
