The Higher Appeals Committee affiliated to the Sudan Football Association has decided to hold a rematch of Al-Hilal-Hasahisa game which raised a wide controversy at the beginning of the sports season.
The Committee also decided to refer article 14 concerning foreign players holding the Sudanese Nationality to the General Assembly for review.
Meanwhile, Chad defeated Sudan 2-1 in Group Ten of the 2010 World Cup and Cup of Nations qualifier in Cairo on Saturday.
The two teams are scheduled to play yet another game next Wednesday in Egypt.
Earlier, Sudan severed diplomatic relations with Chad, after accusing it of backing up an attack launched by the Justice and Equality Movement on Omdurman.
After both countries resumed relations at the end of July, the International Federation of Football Association FIFA arranged for both qualifiers to be played in Egypt.
