The Government of the Republic of Uganda and the delegation of the Lord's Resistance Army in Juba have called all regional actors to double efforts to convince the leader of the LRA Joseph Kony to sign the final peace agreement.

The Ugandan Acting Consul General in Juba Mr. Habib Mugade confirmed to Miraya FM that the Ugandan Government and the Chief Mediator Dr. Riek Machar "are working hard" to convince Kony to sign the final peace agreement.

Mr. Mugade said that signing of the peace agreement "is expected soon."
