Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun has arrived in Juba Monday on one day visit to open Chinese consulate.
Addressing the press at Juba international airport, Mr. Zhai Jun said that his visit is also aimed at "creating good relationship between governments of China and South Sudan".
He said that strengthening of bilateral relations was agreed during the visit of president of the government of South Sudan, GoSS, Salva Kiir to China earlier this year.
During his visit to Juba the Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister is expected to meet GoSS President Salva Kiir.
