UN envoy to Somalia urges for help |

The United Nations Special Envoy for Humanitarian Affairs to Somalia Abdelaziz Al Rukban has called on the international community particularly the Islamic countries to provide assistance to more that three million Somalis who are threatened to die of hunger.
Abdelaziz has urged in a press conference in Nairobi the Islamic countries to endure their religious and ethical duties by supporting the Somali people, who are in need during the month of Ramadan.
Many of Somalis are suffering in south-central region of the country from shortage of food due to clashes, drought, in addition to high prices which rose to 400% during the past six months.
