Schools have resumed classes in Wau town today after two weeks of closure following series of strikes by school children in the town.
The schools had been temporarily closed to calm down riots by students who opposed huge cuts in teachers' salaries.
In a related development, a delegation from the South Sudan Legislative Assembly is in Wau to study major educational problems in Western Bahr el-Ghazal State.
