Heavy rainfall predicted for Nile River |

The Department of Civil Defense reported that heavy rains are expected and that water in the River Nile may rise in coming days in Khartoum.
Reports said rains and floods have killed one person, and destroyed 76 houses. And about a 1000 houses have been partially affected, while more than 150 cattle have died in the Blue Nile, Sinnar and Northern Kordofan States.
Brigadier Abdallah Omer Al Hassan warned citizens living alongside the bank of Nile River to take precautions.
