Sudan warns UNMIS of ALBashir arrest, Qazi says |

The special representative of UN general secretary Ashraf Qazi said that the Sudanese government warned the mission from “terrible consequences” to its employees if the ICC issued an arrest warrant to president AlBashir in relate to Darfur crisis.
Qazi addressed the Security Council that the mission is ready for any consequences of that nature, and it will take necessary precautious including good relations with Sudanese security organs.
Observers told Miraya FM that it is unlikely that president AlBashir will endorse the death penalty sentences issued to JEM members.
The specialist in Darfur matters, Abdullah Adam, said these trials have a political nature in relate to Darfur conflict, pointing out that it will be used in the negotiation process between the government and the armed forces in Darfur.
