The Kenyan Pamela Jlemoo won the gold medal for women running the 800 meter race in Bijing, while the other Kenyan Janete Jeeb Kosgee came second achieving the silver medal.     The Kenyan Keeprop Keeproto won the gold medal for the 3000 meter race with barriers for men after beating all companions at the end of the race.
