US Special Envoy in Khartoum |

The US Special Envoy to Sudan Richard Williamson arrived in Khartoum today.
This is the first visit of Mr. Williamson since the indictment of President Omer Al-Bashir by the International Criminal Court.
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Ali Sadiq, said that Mr. Williamson will discuss with the government the relations between the two countries, the issue of Darfur and Abyei.
It's worth mentioning that Mr. Williamson suspended talks with Sudan last June protesting the delay to resolve the Abyei crisis.
