Ugandan commercial motorcyclists (boarder-boarders) working in Juba halted their business on Thursday as they mourn their colleague killed in the town.     The acting Consul General of Uganda in Juba Migadde Habib told Miraya FM that the Ugandan citizen was killed by a man who asked for a lift from KonyoKonyo market to Gumbo residential area east of the River Nile.

Mr. Habib described the incident as an isolated individual criminal case which has nothing to do with the whole south Sudan community or the government.

He called upon Ugandans to remain calm and carry on with their regular businesses in Juba.

The Ugandan consul said that “south Sudan police has identified parents of the murderer” and further investigation is still going on.

The murderer stabbed the Ugandan motorcyclist on the back and disappeared with his motorcycle.
