The Commissioner of Police in Central Equatoria State Mr. James Lasu began to construct a new private hospital called (Juba Medical Complex) near Juba teaching hospital and the Catholic St. Joseph's Church and Primary School.

According to the Engineer in-charge Mr. Orisa Joffre, the new hospital will provide essential medical services to people in Juba.

The new complex will include a maternity ward, dental section, Radiology in addition to other important departments.

Engineer Joffre said the new medical complex aims to assist Juba Teaching Hospital during the Emergency cases.
