The High Committee dealing with the crisis between the government and the ICC, which is headed by Vice President Salva Kiir Mayardit, has directed the Ministry of Justice to reveal to different bodies the steps it has taken to try the accused of war crimes in Darfur.
The Committee recommended in its second meeting at the Presidential Palace yesterday that diplomatic efforts should continue and be extended to political and legal dimensions.
Miraya FM asked Political Analyst Yassin Ali Bashir about the feasibility of the regional and international efforts of the Sudanese government to counter the ICC measures.
On the other hand, the First Vice President, Salva Kiir Mayardit, reiterated Sudan's commitment to complete efforts for a peaceful resolution to the Darfur issue.
This came in his meeting with the Representative of the European Union in Sudan Torbin Brial at the Presidential Palace yesterday.
