Steering committee to look into south land policy |

The Southern Sudan Land Commission has formed a steering committee comprised of key Ministries in the Government of Southern Sudan and representatives of local government boards and commissions, to look into the land policy.
Speaking to the media, the Chairperson of the Commission, Robert Ladu, said that "the land problems will not be solved unless there are good land laws and policies."
Meanwhile, talks aimed to settle ownership dispute over Mangala County in Central Equatoria State have begun in Mangala, some 30 kilometers north of Juba town.
According to an official in Juba County, the talks which started on Tuesday are progressing well.
The governor of Central Equatoria State, Clement Wani Konga, and the Commissioner of Juba County are among the officials attending the talks.
