Council of Ministers approves extended weekend of Saturday |

The council of Ministers, headed by First Vice President Ali Osman Taha, approved yesterday the extended weekend of Saturday for the public sector employees, after the proposal passed the trial period of six months.
It is worth mentioning that resolution included the public sector only as the private sector is governed by the Labor Relations Act, and there are ongoing discussions about this matter in the Ministry of Labor.
The Council of Ministers directed to take necessary action to ensure improvement of work and implementation of administrative discipline in the public service.
