Food situation assessment in Awerial |

The Director of South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Philip Kot Job, told Miraya FM that an assessment team comprising of UN Agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations would on Friday visit Awerial County to assess the State of food gap.
Mr. Job further said that as soon as the assessment is concluded, food distribution will be organized by the World Food Programme.
This emergency assessment comes as a result of appeals made by the inhabitants of Awerial to the Lakes State Governor upon his recent visit to the area to talk on disarmament.
