Former GoSS Finance Minister challenges Legal Affairs |

Former Finance Minister in the Government of Southern Sudan Arthur Akuen challenged Minister of Legal Affairs and Constitutional Development in the Government of Southern Sudan to prove in court charges that he embezzled public money.
He told Miraya FM that delay of his trial is violation of human rights.
Mr. Akuen was dismissed by the President of the Government of South Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit from his position as Minister of Finance over alleged mismanagement of public funds in 2007. He was then arrested and released on bail while under investigation.
