The Governor of Western Bahr el-Ghazal State, Lt. Gen. Mark Nyipouc Ubong has reshuffled his State’s Government.
The Ministries affected by the reshuffle include the Ministry of Information and Communication, Health, Social Affairs and Rural Development, the Ministry of Local Government and Law Enforcement, and the Commissioners for Raja and Jur River Counties.
Ministries of Finance, Trade and Industry, Agriculture, Physical Infrastructure, and Education have not been replaced or relieved.
Speaking to Miraya FM from his office on Monday, Lt. Gen. Nyipouc said the reshuffle is a normal practice for furthering the progress of work in any Government.
General Nyipouc added that the new cabinet would be sworn in as soon as they assemble in the State Capital, Wau.
He added that most of the new executives are in Juba and Khartoum in the meantime.
In related development, the Governor added that Western Bahr el-Ghazal State has applied for creation of new Counties, increasing their number from thre to seven Counties.
Western Bahr el-Ghazal is the only State made up of three Counties in Southern Sudan at the moment.
