The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said that students who sat for the Sudan School Certificate will start applying to various Universities and Colleges in the country on Sunday. The Ministry said that the process of application will continue until the last week of this month. 
Addressing the press today the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor George Bureng, said that his Ministry specified 50% of the seats in the universities to the various States of the Sudan including the returnees to southern Sudan.
 

Professor Bureng said that the transfer of the three Southern Sudan Universities back to the south is facing financial challenges.
