South Sudan Census Commission complains about lack of funds PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 03 July 2008
The Southern Sudan Commission for Census, Statistics and Evaluation in Juba confirmed that the results of the recent population Census are still being collected and processed due to lack of logistics, funds and experts to work on Census evaluation. The Chairperson of the Commission Mr. Isaiah Chol Aruai said to Miraya FM that even the population Census forms are still being collected from some payams due to lack of transportation.

Mr. Aruai also said that the Government of National Unity "is taking too long" to allocate funds for the data processing of the Census for the Governments of National Unity and South Sudan.
