11th African Union Summit opens today in Egypt |

The 11th African Union summit kicks off today in the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Shiekh.
The summit is expected to discuss the situation in Sudan, Chad and Somalia in addition to the political crisis in Zimbabwe.
The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Hassan Al-Bashir has left on Sunday for Egypt, heading Sudan’s delegation to the summit.
He is due to meet the Libyan President Moammar Al-Ghaddafi on the sideline of the summit to discuss the Darfur issue besides the Sudanese-Libyan and the Sudanese-Chadian relations.
