UN Human Rights Envoy in Sudan |

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in Sudan, Sima Samar, has arrived in Sudan in her second periodic visit for this year and fifth visit since assuming office in 2005.
Mrs. Samar is expected to meet a number of officials to discuss the situation of the human rights in Sudan.
On another hand, the Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers has announced Monday the 30th of June an official holiday in Sudan in celebration of the 19th anniversary of the National Salvation Revolution.
