SPLM and NCP committee to meet in Juba |

The six-man committee between the SPLM and the National Congress Party is meeting in Juba to discuss the controversial electoral law, the Abyei roadmap, and other national issues.
The meeting is being co-chaired by the Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Taha, and the Southern Sudan Vice President, Dr. Riek Marchar.
Addressing the opening session of the committee, the First Vice President and President of the government of southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, said that the visit of the National Congress Party to Juba is part of the implementation of the Presidency resolutions after the SPLM pulled out of the Government of National Unity last year.
Mr. Kiir and Ali Osman in the presence of the Head of the National Intelligence and Security Services, Salah Abdallah Gosh, are expected to inaugurate today the building of the National Intelligence in Juba in accordance with the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
