Machar confirms positive process of Uganda-LRA peace talks |

The chief mediator of the Juba peace talks said the Lord’s Resistance Army and Uganda Government peace process continues to move on.
Speaking during a press conference at the Presidency in Juba yesterday, the chief mediator of the talks, Dr. Riek Machar said he considers the agreements signed in Juba between the two parties legally valid, and that the agreements deserve to be implemented in full.
Dr. Machar reaffirmed his determination to work with Ugandan community leaders, and all the regional and international supporters to persuade the LRA to return to sign the final agreement.
