Portugal qualifies for quareter-finals of the 2008 Euro-Nations |

Portugal have qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2008 Euro-Nations torunament after beating the Czech Republic 3-1 in the second matches of Group A game played in Geneva on Wednesday.
The Portguese goals were scored by Deco, Cristiano Ronaldo, and substitute Ricardo Quaresma in second half injury time. Portugal is leading the group by six points. The co-hosts of the Euro 2008, Switzerland is meanwhile knocked out of the tournament after losing to Turkey by one goal to two. This is the second defeat for the co-hosts.
