The Sudan National football team lost its opening qualifier for the 2010 world cup and the Africa Nations Cup to Congo Brazzaville one nil.
The Sudanese team played without their goal keeper, Al-Muiz Mahjoub, striker Faisal Al-Ajab and defender Richard Justin.
In the European Championship, Austria lost to Croatia one nil, Germany won against Poland two nil. Today, France plays against Romania and Italy against Netherland.
