Malakal County starts environmental campaign |

Authorities in Malakal County of the Upper Nile State started an environmental campaign.
The Authorities said that the campaign is to put an end to the brewing of the local alcohol and the breeding of animals in the residential areas within the town. The Authorities also said that selling food and tea in centers which are not licensed should also be prohibited to avoid the spread of diseases in the State. The Executive Director of Malakal County, Peter Mayoum Kur, clarified to Miraya FM the aims behind the campaign. Malakal County issued a number of decrees last month for renovating the town and widening the campaign of demolishing shops.
