A report released on Friday said that food shortages and lack of drinkable water, political turmoil are among the main threats to sustainable development in Africa.
The report which is titled, Africa in Danger, added that high food prices might endanger political stability can lead to economical recession in Africa.
High food prices have been fluctuating in many African countries like Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mozambique and Senegal.
