Two school students were killed in a road accident caused by an SPLA military truck in Rumbek yesterday morning.

In an interview with Miraya FM, traffic police officer, Sergeant Major Santo Manyiel said that the driver of the SPLA truck went off road and drove towards the primary school boys who were standing two meters away from the road killing them both.

Manyiel further said that the driver went to the police station seeking protection after realizing that the two students have died.

He added that an investigation will be carried out to see if the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
